When you add an Event to your Team Schedule a Squad is created. The Squad is associated with the Event and your Team. A Team may send more than one Squad to an Event. Each Squad has a unique name and competes in one Division.
By default the Registration Status of every new Squad created is set to “Pending”. Once you have completed registering for the Event…via an off-site process or through Checkpoint Tracker (when this feature is deployed)…the Event Promoter will log into the site and set the Registration Status for your Squad to “Confirmed”.
If you have completed registration and paid for your entry, but your Squad’s Registration Status remains set on “Pending” then the Event Promoter has not updated Checkpoint Tracker to “Confirm” your registration.
Hi,
I recieved a “your account has been activated” message after I created my profile which I think went OK. Being a Canadian, I usually bump up against an issue with preset address locations only having US states and zipcode options – this may have been an issue with the profile.
My US team mates tell me that they aren’t able to add me onto their team and they are eager for me to get this straightened out so they can get on with the team registration. Any chance you can help me out
We’re working on enhancing the database to add support for international racers. For now just put in your favorite US city, state and zip and you can update when we get our act together.
Do you need to have all members of the squad signed up on CP Tracker to earn points for the team at an event?
Ex.
Me, Another teammember, her husband & another guest racer are a squad for an upcoming race. Only two of us have racer profiles. Is this a problem?
We aren’t enforcing it yet, but we do want all Racers registered and added to the Squad for each Event they are competing in.
